Hi everyone, havnt been on lately due to work commitments but have been reading all your comments when i can. We are off in about 3 weeks to the N.T.
We are going to see Franks son and family in katherine as he has just got back from Afganistan.
I have also had 2 grandchildren born recently which was exciting.

We cant wait to get on the road again. We have done some small trips down south but nothing big.

Hi all – we are new to this – we have had a pop-top before and only used it for short trips now sold and the big new van has arrived and we love it. Just at the backing stage now and looking for a new tow vehicle (that’s a man story for another time!) Heading north for two weeks on a trial trip and planning the big around Aus trip next year. Love this forum ’cause I can learn so much from the experienced girls!! Sorry guys as well. The MOTH thinks that he will be overseeing all things caravan – we’ll see! Anyone else take a sewing machine and do patchwork?

My wife loves sewing and quilting. We have not taken the sewing machine with us to date due to room and weight factors.
But once we purchase a new ( new to us) second hand tow, we may be able to take the S.M.,

As for free camping. In the beginning she said no way are we free camping. Now she refuses where possible to pay for C.Park.
Cost us a few $$$ to get set up, but we both love free camping.
Tassie was a great place for free camps.

Me either, I wonder about how hot they would become and how stable. I like to do things like Bread & Butter pudding etc….how would silicon hold up??

Boroma I saw a microwave one in Big W today which might suit. I took a picture with my phone to show you, have got it on the computer but can’t seem to get it into the post. Back to the drawing board.
