'What the'
"Home after 13 months and 50,000km and $50,000." Wow, that equated to $3846 a month or $961 a week or $137 a day or $1 a kilometre. Why tow a van around. If I was going to pay that much we'd stay in motels/cabins etc. The money saved in extra fuel would go close to paying to survive. If that's the norm then its out of my reach. Glad there's free camps out there.

We spent lots on flights and trips and stayed every night in a van park As well we upgraded our van another $37,000. We are happy dont care about what others do. Just making a remark.

Eh?
What the ? So your not an Aussie eh? Well us poor old Aussie pensioners are very proud people. We count every penny. The topic was about caravan park ratings , what this has to do with your plane flights astounds me. You really show an air of arrogance.

Was you who worked out the daily and kilometer cost (and incorrectly in the reply mail I got). QUOTE "that equated to $3846 a month or $961 a week or $137 a day or $1000 a kilometre" I then said why it cost me that. If you dont like the way we travel too bad. No being arrogant just stating facts. You have no idea of peoples financial situation so just because we can afford it doesnt mean we are arrogant. We have worked hard in two countries and intend to enjoy our retirement. Where did I say I was pensioner anyway and what has that got to do with anything,

Yes things change and not always for the better. Also its never the same the second time around I just rated them as I found them and the minus 5 wasnt a typo I expect toilets to suck down not blow it all out on the floor. LOL

well thanks very one. I guess this thread was just too simple for any of you to work out. a simple rating of 1 to 5 would have given the heads up on some of the places you stayed at, but no, that was far to simple for any of you to do. and so once a gain a reasonable good thread has be desecrated by those that think they know it all
