Got to agree Badger, a man with three boats like me certainly has the bug...

Generally rods are good if you buy multiple items, and you know your brands, as they fit into tubes easily. I usually negotiate a flat rate 1st Class mail postage and buy a few rods with my mates.

The reels are always high end Okuma, a good honest brand I find and handle the hoodlums in the creeks up here.

son is getting married in September .
Judy had to have a new dress of course . Got one made in China . Cost $79 ( I think ) delivered here . Well made . Perfect fit .
Same thing in Australia is around $300 .
Delivered just on 3 weeks after ordering .

The brides and bridesmaids dresses also came from there , with a saving of over $1000 .

Yeah DT & OT thats roughly the part... looks like my local Caravan accessory bloke is a rip-off merchant....They confirmed the price when I expressed shock...One thing though..I had one of my old ones with me and they told me it didn't need replacing.+
Definitely pays to shop around.

Jock ;-)

Jock & DT, there are some cheaper Chinese look-a-likes that I cannot vouch for (coz I don't have any idea) but I bought locally 4 of the genuine Yankee originals @ $45 a piece, see here.... http://www.caravansplus.com.au/catalog/ ... ucts_id=81
