Sorry, are are you asking what you bought WHILE overseas, or what you bought, say, online FROM overseas, or either?

Thanks, FF. SWMBO does all the online buying so I don't know the prices (she's away on holidays), but it's been several digital cameras over the recent years; our "GPS" unit which is actually a Airis Pocket PC with Navigator software; various PC hardware such as video cards; various external hard drives (one only arrived last week). Both SWMBO and our 20 yo buy HEAPS of books from the US and UK. I do know that the same books in Angus and Robertson are much dearer. By the amount of book deliveries we get, the various couriers around here know me by sight - they wave to me if they see me at the local shopping centre car-park - kinda says it all.

I am worst I think, this week alone I have bought (on ebay) an electric toothbrush, new heads for my electric razor, a "minimalist" knife, polarised sunglasses with 2X magnification in the bifocal section and a new fishing reel.

All about 50 - 70% of what I would pay here if I include postage.

Also I have a Nissan Pathfinder so parts always come from overseas...Nissan Parts here are extraordinarily priced...eg a plastic radiator overflow tank here $194...from USA $60+ including postage

Ok, so obviously the Weber Smoky Mountain Smoker will have a home here as well.
It is $699 in Australia. And delivered through Amazon for $367.44 Saving almost 50%

Also a Manfrotto camera snap on Tripod adapter that screws onto any tripod, and will take a heavy DSLR Canon. This devise has a lock built in, to prevent the camera falling off.

Most photographers have three tripods of all different makes due to different makes having different snap on bases. So instead of making my excellent Velbon tripod redundant at a cost of $ 350-00 Aus , I bought the adapter.

They are $80-00 in Australia if you can find them, or delivered from Amazon for $39-95 from the USA. saving 50%

Crazyhorse, you had me thinking "well done" until you mentioned buying fishing gear online! :o Fishing gear is not to be taken lightly! I mean, fishing is not a sport, or pastime - it's akin to a religion! 8-) I hope you know what you are doing! :D
