Hi Peanut,

I've got Sunrice Basmati rice in my cupboard... haven't tried it yet, but after reading your post I will soon!!!!

I bought it because it looked so delightfully simple.

Cheers
Marg

Hi ladies, i just bought 2 packets of the new heat and serve, 2mins brown rice, its in the flat tray and is gluten free, low salt and 98% fat free. Its shelf life is 1 year. Its so simple and the packaging is great. I saw it on The Circle tv show so thought i would look in the supermarket and this lady came and put several in a basket so asked her if it was any good and she said great. She also told me to go to the web site for easy reciepes. Here it is if you want a look.

I only ever use Basmati and only ever cook it in the microwave or in the Dream Pot.

I have just retired and am about to try the Revitanail after many, many years of gel coating. Will see how it goes and report back.

Hi all
forgive me if this has been covered before -
besides using a Baby Q to bake a delicious roast, what other methods do you use to roast a piece of meat in the van oven, say leg of lamb, without making a mess of the oven - my hands/ fingers suffered a lot with the oven cleaning from my 1st & maybe last roast in the van oven.
Have heard how fantastic the Baby Q is, but they are another large & bulky item I'm trying to avoid buying
many thanks
cheers Sue

I dont have an oven or baby q. But listening to people on forum with them they sound great. I have an old bbq and just do boneless legs of lamb and pork and its terrific. We cook them on our bbq and tent it on low with alfoil. Turns out great everytime. We have a brand new one franks boss bought us and we havent used it yet.

Oven Bags and disposable foil trays saves mess in the van oven and makes for easy clean up.

tenting in putting alfoil over the meat when you sear and brown it on both sides and puting alfoil maybe double layers over the bbq and scrunching it onto the sides to steam the meat like an oven. I put potatoes, corn and pumpkin or sweet corn on aswell wrapped in alfoil. Check meat with small incision usually 20 mins and let rest for 10mins. Add water and clean bbq with newspaper, it works for us.

like Cathy says alfoil trays are a must with us too.
