Every lady would surely find a spot for a good pizza cutter?

Re: Nothing new under the sun from 1929
i remember as a kid going out in my dads tourer [soft top] and being made to sit in the back seat cause ,apparently, they never had safety glass then and the windscreen was thin house glass.
cheers Rod

Hi Rod, the only thing those had going for them was that the couldn't go as fast. But terrible accidents still occurred. Here is another safety idea.

Re: Nothing new under the sun from 1929
G'day DT, They still do this with rolled hay and a ute, lash to a tree and drive away, and the sheep/cattle are fed. That's why some cattle chase vehicles because they think it's food. I heard that it's happened somewhere before:-)).
Cheers, Bill

Re: Nothing new under the sun from 1929
Hi Bill, I actually have seen cattle chase a caravan that was going through a paddock once. The bloke reckoned he was driving on a droving trail but the cattle were BEHIND him!!!! I was thinking a bloke with a trailer could back up at one of those long drop tips and they usually have a safety rail he could tie to. With my luck I would probably take out the whole rail.

I like the sentence "the value of the front wheel brake is still undetermined." It shows just how new that technology was.
