Post If the shoe fits
OK ladies, I'll risk publishing my bloke's essential shoe list:

1 pair any colour crocs (for when near water)
1 pair any colour all purpose sandals
1 pair any colour all purpose everything else shoes.

You know us blokes. Simple minds = simple needs :) Only speaking for myself of course.

lol OT you forgot the pull on blunnies. Hubby never, and I mean NEVER goes anywhere without them.

I'm not a shoe person either. 1 pr rivers surf sandals, 1 pr hiking boots & 1 pr slip on dress shoes.
If I'm desperate I can borrow his blunnies lol. The joys of size 10 feet.

OT,

I draw the line at pink crocs.

Crocs are about all I wear these days.

I had better rephrase that. Crocs are about all I wear when it comes to footwear.

Post never smile at a pink croc
TD, got blunnies but they are working gear and only for home. I should have explained my 1 pair all purpose shoes are lace up boot thingies. Maybe joggers is the right name? Dunno, my wife buys my shoes. Ideal for driving, rough walking tracks and general purpose. Neat enough to go and eat out - but never do. That's what the van fridge, sink and stove are for.

Shags, I find pink crocs are fine providing they don't clash with the tu tu.

Ladies, I apologise for hijacking your thread. We will shortly remove the redundant banter when you have had enough of our childish antics.

Post Caravan refresh
I had another precious thought to add to all the beauties previously mentioned by the ladies. I have been sitting in the caravan this afternoon due to the heat in Sydney and our home not coping with it (the air-con in the van was brilliant). When our van is at home and patiently waiting for us to take it away, I prevent mustiness by cutting a small onion in half (skin on) and putting each half on a saucer and leaving one on the table and the other in the en suite. Rather than leaving an onion smell, it actually absorbed staleness and leaves a sweet fresh smell. I used to do this in our house when closing it up for holidays.

I sometimes even put one half in the fridge (which we keep powered up) to allow this freshness in there. Most times the fridge is used as storage for bubbly.

Cheers - Ngaire
