 wine glass storage My wife and I prefer wine from good wine glasses. Quite some years ago (30 or there abouts) we received as a gift silver goblets in a red velvet box with a lid so I reshaped the internals (which was cardboard) and reglued the velvet material with some pvc glue. The wine glasses have travelled safely in this padded box to Cape York and across the Simpson Desert as well as numerous trips in the van for about fifteen years without mishap.

Love your idea with the thick foam. Could also use for glass jars like Vegemite.
