Post Wine Glass Storage
Hi Everyone,

I just cannot come at drinking a good wine out of a plastic "glass". Does anyone have some ideas as to how to safely store wine glasses while travelling? At present we stuff them inside stubby holders which seems to work ok but I would really like a much neater solution.

would appreciate some ideas from the forum.

My wife is similar and must have a glass for her vino!

After trying a number of methods - inside stubby holders, wire racks, bubble wrap - we now store them in the box they came in.

They can't roll around, fall over or knock together - and if we need to get more than a couple when the obligatory drink time comes around and the hordes come together, we simply grab the box.

Never had a breakage since.

Cheers.

Mike

If they are not wide glasses just save a few 1 litre milk cartons, glue together after cutting down to the desired height. Glue on some fabric or scrapbook the outside and sit in your cupboard.

Post Hi Everyone
Thanks Mike and Rosco,

afraid the box was nowhere as good as the glasses, so flimsy it fell apart just getting the glasses out of it. But it is a very good idea just hope I can remember it for next time.

Rosco the brackets look like they could do the job, must keep a lookout for some.

appreciate the ideas
many thanks

Hi,
Try THESE. They work very well, even over rough rods.

Cheers

I've found the safest and most convenient place to keep me glass is in me hand.
I'm just very careful how i put it down if I need 2 hands to lift the cask.
Annee is not in to etiquette like me, she just necks the bottle, or if we have visitors, she gets out a straw.

I do however, understand the concepts you are all sharing;)

Lance,
Ive run out of white T shirts as the red tends to spill over 70 but I now follow the sign I saw in Bangkok,"Dont drive, drink more wine.

Like Rosco,
I bought the holders from Northcoate and love them. I bought 3 packs of 2 originally and have left them in the last 2 vans we sold for the new owner. I intend getting some more to have available when people on the road ask "where did you get those??"
Brilliant!!
