Gooday Cathy.
In anuva forum I'm involved with, I sometimes get asked to change members user names for similar reasons to yours.
As an Admin, it can be done in the back room, but that option is not available to individual members directly. It must be done by Admin.
Contact the Admin here, and ask if that option is available to them on this platform. I'd be surprised if it's not.
The only other way around it is to re-register with your new name.
