Post Re: Installing a solar panel
Hi Sally

Does your van sit in the sun at home ?

You could do your test at home, unpug the 240volts, when you turn your lights on go out and turn your van lights on then when you turn your TV on go out and turn your van TV on and so on, when you turn your home stuff off and go to bed turn your van stuff off, it will give you a good idea of "your" power useage. Your van and you will be different to all others.

Sally the main problem with Jayco are the incandescent lights. If you replace the lights with fluoros or LED it makes a huge difference.
Saying that you'd have plenty of power for only a couple of nights anyway.
