Please give me the hover function on the topic title that gives the first few lines of a post

I have asked many times but no response as yet to say if it can be done

I agree Rat3het  . It is the best enhancement a forum can have for speed and ease of use. In can be done, and a person who knows how to set it up was a member here, but has not been around for quite some months.

I must concur with you on this. Another forum has this system and it is magic.
So C&M how about listening to what you customers want.

What is the point in asking for feedback and not getting any answer back

Hi rat3het. Late last year I responded your query by saying: [I also passed on the member query about the hover function. It is not an inherent feature of our bulletin board. It needs system software changes and there is no time for this while the group of failing websites remain unresolved.] Please see the actual post: http://www.candm.com.au/forum/viewtopic ... 40#p167440

I have since learned that the hover software changes needed could only begin with an upgrade of our Bulletin Board software. Apparently it is the older version 3.0.8 and the latest version is 3.0.12. There are no immediate plans for any bulletin board upgrade as it may add to the confusion in addressing existing gremlins. I think this is code for don't expect anything soon.

Cheers

COULD I SUGGEST ALL COMMENTS REGARDING THE FORUM UPGRADE IMPLEMENTED TUESDAY OCT 24th BE SUBMITTED TO THE THREAD ANNOUNCING THE UPGRADE.

http://candm.com.au/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=20431

HAVING ALL CURRENT COMMENTS & REPORTS IN THE ONE PLACE WILL ELIMINATE DUPLICATION OF POSTS.

jUST MY THOUGHTS 8-)

PERHAPS ADMIN COULD LOCK THIS THREAD FOR A FEW DAYS TILL WE ALL GET USED TO THE NEW FORMAT

Thank you Lance. I have twice moved posts from here to the main upgrade thread and I will lock this one.
