Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend

Just wondering if anyone can help me find a rear door tent/annexe for a Toyota Hiace? I want to use it to add to our floor space and mainly for our 2 dogs to sleep in, so it would need to be completely sealed around the van. Does anyone know of someone who makes or sells them? Or has a second hand one for sale? We are heading off for a trip early next month so we need to find something pretty quickly, it’s very cosy sharing the bed with our golden retrievers!

I am wondering… …did you find where you could purchase the back door tent as I have the same needs

Hi all,
I was looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee yesterday which was set up in the showroom with a rear door tent. Price was about $350, but don’t know if you had to buy the jeep to get it. . Check out your local Jeep dealer for further info.

I would suggest checking out some of the lower end campervan hire places, they have some innovative ideas but other than that why not a bag awning and some walls and/or some collapsible dog fencing?

The Oztent is a good option to back up to with your vehicle.

Demo here – 30 seconds to put up – Bang some sides on and you’ve got privacy and/or shelter for the bristles. There are a few sizes available too.

Downside – used to be length when packed up but I think they pack up much smaller now and cost is up there too but you pay for what you get.

We tried a number of "None starters" until I spotted this on the BCF online catalogue. It’s supposed to stick on the side of an RV with suction cups like a GPS holder.
Rang my local store, guy said they were changing the design and he had 3 of the old model left. I could have one for $49! Soooo..
I ended up hoying the suction cups and pop riveting cleats above the gutter. Has front and back removable panels. We stayed in Hervey Bay last year and it made for great extra living space – see photo
