My foot must be heavier than yours GeeCee as mine returns about 20 litres per hundred, 18ft Windsor Dynasty pop top.

Hi Tobes, we have a 98 3.4 auto Prado Grande, towing a 14 ft Supreme Getaway 1900kg and extremely happy with it. We would have towed either the van or our 5.3mt Haines Hunter boat for almost half of her 260,000 kms. Very little van towing in overdrive. Certainly not the most powerful towing vehicle but very solid, stable, comfortable and reliable. We also spend a fair amount of time towing; not just off the blacktop, but well off the beaten track, gold prospecting where in heavy going it does guts up the fuel.

Tobes, I am not a salesman of any sort - I even end up having to buy most of my Rotary Raffle tickets ( )

My son has our previous 2005 Prado Grande Petrol 4L with under 100K on the clock - and well maintained. His wife drives it around town.
It has never pulled anything beyond a 6 x 4 box trailer. (We didn't own a caravan then.)
They are wanting of selling it as they have moved to Brisbane and she doesn't want to drive a '... bloody great tractor around the tight city streets' etc.
They are not greedy so the price will be realistic.
Check my profile for email address if interested.

Our Prado diesel is THE BEST! Sunny Coast to Cunnamulla return without caravan we did 9.9L per 100K - and a tad fast. Sunny Coast to Tamworh return with caravan (2499.9999kg) we did 15.6L per 100K (Handled Boliva Hill & Moonbi Ranges with disdain - driving about 90 - 95kph on the flat).

(Guys, this is the first ever time I have offered a sale and only because it is directly relevant to this post!!!)
