I am completely with you jock.
It is so annoying to see imperial measurements still being used in 2011.
Australia started metrication in the late sixties and some of us are still referring back to imperial.
Get over it....

Only as far as money was concerned, metric of weights and measures didn't come in till the mid 70's.
But I know what you mean though, I came from Belgium in 1967 as a 12yo had to go from metric to imperial, then switch back again, there are many times when I still use both systems.
