Re: FUEL SAVINGS TOWING A CARAVAN Buy yourself a tinnie. With my rig (below) I get 10-15% improvement in fuel consumption with the tinnie on top and remember - You can't fish in a Whale Tail!!

Re: FUEL SAVINGS TOWING A CARAVAN I am having a whale tail fitted and will be doing a test run before and after fitting, will be a week or so be for completion.
Then a trip to Harvey Bay and return 5/8/11 so this will give a better idea of fuel saving. I drive a 100 series petrol cruiser.

Re: FUEL SAVINGS TOWING A CARAVAN Sorry for not doing this sooner, the road test did not warrant the purchase price with the small saving on fuel so the tail was returned to the manufacturer.
