I was talking to a fellow Pesty yesterday who used to work for Flick when they were in their prime, and everyone recognized the uniform of The Flick Man. He said he was working in the Dementia ward of a local nursing home when he went into a residents room and said 'Good morning, Do you know who I am?!' to which the old dear replied ' No, but if you ask the nice nurse down the hall She'll tell you'.:D

Sad but true,
Cheers,
Craig.:)

Thanks Rod, yes, I'm aware of that, but I thought we'd heard from him since then. Thanks for the reply though, and well done on the Ipswich parade too.
I lived in the Amberley married patch many years ago, it's all gone now! I'm very familiar with your area, lived there '77 to late '82.

Regards, Terry

It's great that we are all coming up with good idea's to identify forum members while there on the wallaby. But if this is ever going to get anywhere, we should all email "][email protected] and submit your idea's to Sean at C& M.
Collectively we can do it ! after all it's all good advertising for the mag'
My choice would be a sticker on the window of my 'Van.

See you 'round my campfire

Geoff

Hello Geoff, a sticker on the back window is ok, but only visible (on the road) if you are following very close. Unless you intend to overtake, you should not be that close to another van, for both safety and courtesy to other road users.
The aim of having yellow ribbon or velcro on a rear handle, towel rail, bike rack etc was to be visible from some distance away.
A sticker on the front would be an advantage in a camp site though, as the rear of the van is not always in view.

My thoughts only, your input is very welcome.

Regards, Terry

Agree Terry,

So now I'll have a yellow Velcro ring on the bullbar & the rear ladder.

Thanks Lesley, thats a good site to bookmark. Our member Lance has offered to print the stickers for around $7.50 each which is amazing value and his work is top knotch. He accepts Paypal & direct deposit.
All we need now is the go ahead.
