Identification for forum members
Has anyone ever suggested some sort of way of recognising fellow forum members? When on our travels, would it be good to have a hat or maybe a sticker for the van or car which would help to ensure that we can identify one another. I can imagine there would be times when members would have crossed paths but not even been aware of it. What do others think?

Mist, I have a feeling Frank and Brenda brought this up back a bit. Not too sure where it ended up. I think the mag should be the source, free or not. Keep chasing, it is a good idea. Take it easy. SD

There was a thread a while back on it http://forum.candm.com.au/showthread.php?t=937 but management never responded?

Tassie Seanc responded and he is something to do with management. However, it does appear to have come to a dead end. It is a good idea though. Lets hope management kicks on with it. Lets keep it before them. Cheers Ross

Recognition!
G'Day Mist.
Yeah, I agree, but I don't wear hats, and I think a sticker would be hard to see without close scrutiny, perhaps a flag???? I dunno!! Open to suggestion.
Hey peterm, something to distinguish us could at least give us a chance of special harrassment instead of just the standard treatment hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best regards, Dawn & Lance.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, I hope that in time my family and I will get to meet up with quite a few of the regulars on the forum. What a shame if we cross paths but never even know it. A flag might work. My husband travels overseas quite a bit with his work, he always identifies his suitcases with a wide, fluoro velcro band, makes his bags easier to spot on the baggage collection carousel. Looks a bit daggy but it works well. Maybe we could nominate a colour and all display something similar (whatever everyone agrees on) on a strategic part of the van. That way the forum administrators may not need to do anything, anyone could choose to be involved (or not). Any more thoughts? Mist

If you have a look at the thread I posted in the All About Me section you will see the photo of my boy, so you will definitely be able to spot me, because he is my shadow!!!!

I.D.
G'Day Mist.
Yeah maybe a fluoro coloured I.D on the vehicle antenna or something of that ilk. Needs to be something easily identifiable though. I try to keep a little (or big) list of the vehicle and van list of members to get an idea of what to look for, but the list is getting bigger & bigger.
Peterm, the picture of Zeus is etched in my mind along with the GC & Coronet and as a past dog person (2 Boxers) I would love to have Zeus eat at my BBQ, but I will charge him for the scotches.
Best regards, Dawn & Lance.
