Well we have had the Fusion for a few months now and have had a few issues with it. What should have been a very simple fix has turned out to be a bit more drama......Reason for this is a total care factor of ZERO by the dealer and manufactorer. We paid for and are paying for (some are not finished yet) the repairs out of our own pocket. I would never on this basis buy a Fusion caravan or any caravan built by Mathew Volwes and would never deal with this particular dealer again.
Geoff.
Just because Paradise have gone to the wall the selling dealer can't negate his legal resonsibility to carry out any warranty work.
The contract you have is with the Dealer not with the builder.
The selling dealer agreed by way of a contract to supply you with a product specified in a Sales Contract (order) either odered from a manufactuer or from his yard stock at a agreed price.
The dealer must make good any faults covered by the mandatory 12 months warranty, and claim the cost of repairs or replacement parts from the manufacturer or parts supplier.
If the manufacturer or supplier no longer exists then the selling dealer must wear the cost of any warranty repairs or replacement.
Don't let yourself be stuffed around by the dealer. He sold the priduct and by law it's his legaal responsiblity to make good any faults covered by warranty.
