Giday
We have been lurking in the background for a while now and thought it was about time to introduce ourselves. It's Brett and Laura here and we are keen travellers in the prime of our life. Better not give away the bosses age just yet! We have just sold our Crusader X-Country which we had for a couple of years and really enjoyed getting away when time permitted. We have longed to do the big trip for some time and yesterday we signed up at the Lismore Show for a Sunland Patriot with all the trimmings. We plan on taking delivery in March next year. Our plan is sell the house and work and travel around Oz for as many years that we can while we still have our health. We have spoken to many people in our travels so far but we are keen to learn from others experiences too. Hope to see you on the road. Cheers Brett

Have done just what you are considering. We sold our house in Brisbane with the idea, that we would travel and work for many years. About 2 years in Shirley became will, to the point that we had to stop and settle down for a few years, until she regained her health. We sold the van and have had to rent, as the housing market had gone nuts in that time. A few years on, and a move WA, we have a new van and a great job. In 2 weeks we are off on a 6 week hoilday to the Kimberlies. If I could give you t bits of advice, they would be: 1/ Don't sell your house. 2/ Join Workabout Australia Cheers Ian

I have so much junk around here it will take several months to sell it off. Ebay will be getting a good workout. Thanks for the encouragement and tips and we may see you on the road. Regards Brett
