England to retain the Ashes
It looks very much like the Poms will retain the Ashes, what an totally un-Australian performance by the insipid Aussies. I bet some heads will roll after this test series. See: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/the-ashes/th-test-running-story/story-fn67w6pa-1225976281661

Re: England to retain the Ashes
PLEASE don't remind me!
I switched off the TV and radio 2 days ago to avoid any cricket news. This forum is my last general news refuge - to escape any mention of cricket. Please don't mention that dirty word again. I have now switched my sports code and allegiance to under nineties crochet.

Bearing in mind the betting scandals emanating from the Indian sub continent, it makes you wonder how much money has been made from this test series.
Once the one dayers start, there will be even more loot to be had.

I agree Siegay. Their performances are too eratic(for me anyway) to say its not rigged.!!!!!! Regards Dave.

Re: England to retain the Ashes
Hi All and Compliments of the Season,
As cricket is a gentleman's game I think that once a player gets full arm tattoos he should be shown the door. Clarke and Johnson should be given the Tijuana (Brass). Everybody with tatts will now have the Eartha Kitts with me. I predicted that Johnson would fail this test because the accolades from the media about the previous test would go to his head. It did and he failed. It's time to start again, right from the selectors down, to rebuild Oz cricket back to glory.
Cheers CHONGA

Re: England to retain the Ashes
It's a shame to see the Aussie Cricketers go down so badly and like all sporting fans we want to see heads roll when they don't measure up. The Aussie team was at the top of the Cricketing ladder for so many years that it's hard to take defeat. They will be back, cause there's so many good cricketers out there. Don't be too harsh on them.
