friends how to make them

Post by shonky12 » Sun Feb 24, 2019 12:18 am

hi everyone

was wondering how to go about making a few supplement friends around your age in the copper coast area that arent planning to move to adelaide (mid 20s to early 30s) as the ones you got have got things on now even though youre still good friends with them.

theres online sites and stuff but would rather go the old way and actually go out and do it and not do it online and these days thats what everyone seems to do.

have cousins up and they go tomorrow and feel like havent had much if any time with them and while youd still miss that it wouldnt be half as hard if you had supplement friends because youd have people.

also am building a whole new trailer chassis and if a girl as a friend is found do you guys recon itd be better to over engineer the springs and stuff a bit so its still compliant if she threw her gear in as depending on what it is it could weigh the trailer down a bit and could be a tonne or over all up inc your own gear and trailer weight if you camped, as once you threw your gear, her gear and flled up a few water tanks it wont take much to weigh a tonne maybe over.

with the trailer would override brakes be good enough as plan to put brakes on it and may have to at times tow it with a car that doesnt have a electric brake controller.

same goes for van when that happens. would it be better to over engineer the springs and stuff.

what else can you put on a powered site thats not going to cost anything (money you could be using for your van) other than the rates of the site thats not going to take hours to pack gear and set it all up and is as comfortable as a van just until you get your van. camper trailers and tents arent really a option as they take forever to pack and setup.

cabins are fine every few months at earliest but when you want to do it every other weekend just to have friends over then it gets pretty expensive itd sometimes be nice to have a site as a option but dont yet have a van.

the said cousins live in murray bridge which is 3 hours away from copper coast, and havent been able to go up unless you can get a ride even though driving yourself up wouldnt normally have been a problem as the old car needed alot of work and wasnt ready to move it on till now, if the room was there to park the old cars and use them as weekends and show cars then would definitely have changed the daily sooner because then you wouldnt have had to actually get rid of the cars, and its only since june last year when buying the ba ghia you could think about it and now its almost impossible as they moved on with go karts.

G'day shonky
Mate to start off with you'd be better off putting that in a few posts about each point rather than one long one
As far as making friends in your 20's and 30's it's been 30-40 years since i was there and things were different back then, + we were already married and had kids so the neighbors became ot friends
Try joining a fotty club, or other sport you're into pr there's always the pub but that can get expensive

Nah, just tell her she's allowed 2 suitcases
When she brings them say
Choose which ONE means the most to you leave and the other one behind
If she does, she's a keeper

You can pt anything on a powered site, but other than a caravan you can have a camper trailer or tent, the choice is yours

Keep in mind shonky, that no matter what you put on that powered site, the full powered fees will probably apply whether you use the power available or not.
As for finding friends, speak and behave appropriately with everyone you meet and sooner or later someone will latch on to you. 8-)

what do yous recon has happened to the days where you go out and get to know friends in 20s and 30s as many seem to want to do it on internet now.

how do you have parties with no friends as havent organised a function ever at age 32, as for powered sites tents and camper trailers take so long to pack and setup, and dont have anywhere to leave a van and old car currently and dont want to pay much for storage otherwise you may as well get a loan and pay for something you own

I reckon get a book on "pick up lines" is the way to go.

"Hey chick wanna malted, but we will have to use two straws"....always worked for me.

Then hope she snags the ice cream in the bottom....

Hi

What are ways to write letters to a old friend or friend you haven’t seen for a long time or someone you know and you want to connect or reconnect.

How do you start and finish the letter, what do you say and is there sample ones online to give you ideas.

Looking to write a letter to a friend at some point.

Thanks
