My first one arrived.!!!..Issue 164.
Many thanks.... will start to read it over the weekend but a quick 'flip thru' shows a great improvement.
Will let you know what I think.. seeing as you asked for feed-back.

Like Uncle Phil, I'm still waiting for 163. I hope the newsagent still has it in stock. Express are putting a couple of extra on my subscription for the mix up (on top of the 3 freebies)
Can anyone tell me what the DVD I will miss out on (with 163) was about please?

Hi Jdog,

I think the DVD is the one titled Heading North "Gateway to the outback".
Mainly around Bourke. Good DVD.

I got my first free issue (164) today, haven't read the mag yet, BUT, I must say I was surprised to see an add for "what's up down under" on the DVD not long after a clip on freecamping, considering the show is so dead against "freeloaders" I didn't think they would both have a place on the same DVD.

I read somewhere that the offer had been extended till the end of November, is that correct? For the life of me I can't find where I read it now. :roll:

Kind of off topic,

I received the last of my 3 free 4WD Action magazines. While I have not finished reading the first one (I think the 2nd & 3rd arrived in the same week), I watched a DVD that came with the magazines & found it quite enjoyable.

A bit of a blast from the past seeing Ruthy on the DVD.

My compliments to the chef. :razz:

Could not understand why some forum members had received their 3rd free C&M mag and I had still not received my 1st one. I had rang up and ordered them in early September when the offer was released.

Rang up the hotline number and guess what, my name had been left off the list and they could not understand why ?.

Lucky for me, the young lady I spoke to was very understanding and has now added my name (again) to the list for the 3 free copies.

I am looking forward (hopefully) to next months issue being sent to me as my 1st free copy.
