Probably because the current Millard manufacturer has little in common with the previous one. Millard were taken over by Viscount in the 80s. Viscount went bust a couple of times and folded in the early 90s. There was a long period before the brand was resurrected. I'm not even sure that the current mob are the ones who resurrected the name.
