Stayed there last October (2012) and had a great time. Sites are well placed and neat and tidy. Facilities are quite good to excellent. Within walking distance of the town, (2kms via road). Also a bicycle track between McLaren Vale and Willunga. In the Mclaren Valley so lots of wineries, bakeries and other sights to see. About 7 kms from Willunga where they have weekend market s certain times of the year. Google the region and you will have a lot of information. Also excellent as a base to explore the Fleurieu Peninsula.

cheers,

cheers,

We live in Alsinga Beach 15km from the Vale we have only visitd friends at the park and from what they tell us and what we saw is is well described by Alby.
The Willunga farmers market is on every weekend (Saturday) and the Quarry markets
http://www.willungaquarrymarket.com/
are on every second Saturday in conjunction with the farmers market.
As Alby said there are many things to do in the region, the Flurieu peninsula is a great place to spend a few days and Adelaide is only an hour away, Victor Harbor 30 minutes, Strathalbyn 40, Goolwa 30, Hahndorf 40 etc, etc, etc.
