is just me or do other users get re directed by ads for the the chance to win an apple i phone
every time i log on to the site before i have a chance to select which topic i want to view i get a new screen open up and im told i can win an i phone or i pad
i have tried to un subscribe but i must give them my email etc .which i wont do
the only way to close the page is to click on the x in the top right corner whic also closes this site
i am at the stage where if this is to become the norm for this site i dont want to keep participating
i dont have this problem with any other sites

Install Adblock. Been using it for ages now and no more popup ads. Just Google Adblock and install for your browser.

Are they gaining income from this type of tactic? Not a very nice way to do business, even on a free forum such as this. We all know someone has to pay but using this way of making you view ads??????

When you are redirected does another window open or is the forum page over-written?

I think if it was by forum design all of us would experience it. Maybe you have some malware at work?

i log in to the home page which allows me to see all the sub topics on the site then choose what i go to next
that is where i get hi jacked to a page called zigzagfone.com
it is another page that opens and the only to escape it is to close it by the red x in top rh corner which also closes this forum
i blame this forum as it is the only one (out of 10 plus other sites that i visit) i have problems with and
in the recent past i have not added any new functions or filled in any on line forms
i will try deleting my link to this forum and re establishing a new link to see if that makes any difference

I don't get that here, and I do not use ad blockers. I had something similar on my laptop and recalled someone on a different forum reporting the same. Sort of following instructions on that thread got rid of it. PM me if you would like to know more about this. It may not be the same as what you are getting. Do you regularly screen for Malware?
