I thought the wanted/swap section was for seeing if someone else wanted what you no longer need for travells and such if it is not why have i been reading for sale ads on here for a very long time. Could be wrong SWMBO tells me i am a lot

I just had a squiz and see the forum has provided an area specifically for members to buy/sell their personal stuff. It has nearly 1000 posts and goes back to 2006. It must be OK then

I reckon you are giving the members a chance at a good product. Others may appreciate the offer.

In the Wanted/Swap section, One of our members, Mally, questioned using the Forum to sell stuff.
Personally, I reckon he was out of order and I am opening this up in the correct section to see what other members and, perhaps, Admin think.
It was mentioned by OT that there has been heaps of items listed for sale since as far back as 2006 and it seems a bit amazing that someone has questioned the validity of such posts now.
I, for one, would like to see stuff for sale by members continue..not only for Caravans, motorhomes etc. etc. but for anything which could be of value to other members.
Perhaps others may feel that items for sale be limited to only goods associated with camping and caravanning.
In any event, would be interesting to read responses and, perhaps admin. may consider adding the words "For Sale" to the section heading.
