From a techo perspective I find it hard to envisage the website causing this issue. Have you tried other similar websites?

The browser back-arrow just takes you to the previously called page. I ran a few tests and had consistent results. Of course if you read a topic that runs over a page then it will take 2 back-arrow clicks to get back to base.

Sometimes I find the website a bit slow to respond to commands. Could it be that you are a bit quick on the trigger and overshoot due slow responses?

If you don't mind having a bit of a fiddle I am interested in what you may find

I always open the forum on the "view new posts" tab (that's actually what is set in my bookmarks [Google Chrome]. That would be "Favourites" in IE)
Then I right click on the topics I want to view one after the other, the right click opens them in a new tab, I then go back through them and shut the thread down when I ave finished leaving the last page to be the original one opened when I logged on.
Click "view new posts" to refresh the page.
