My three kids have now flown the coop, all married, and between them I now have four beautiful little grandaughters.
Shaun, It might help to let everyone know where you are based.

Post family caravan club
Hi rosco
not sure if shaun has got back to you yet, but we are basically based in brisbane, south east. We are only a small club but have members north, south and west of brisbane. shaun has just set up our website of which can be viewed in a link on the cccq web site. Have not looked at it myself yet so i will have a look after this as well.

we get away once a month and usually try to keep within a couple hours of brisbane rotating between north and south locations, with a few others as well. if you have any questions, contact shaun or you can contact margaret, our secretary, at --" Family Caravan Club Inc "
thanks;graham

It took some searching as the CCCQ site does not have a link to your site, we are in Brisbane and have 3 kids and will certainly think about joining

Post Australian Caravan Club
Have any of you guys heard of the Australian Caravan Club (ACC). It is a club specificially raised to lobby for caravaners Australia wide.

The aim is to get a better deal for caravaners, stopping the closure of van parks and lobby councils for the establishment of "Alternative Camping " areas and "Rest Stops" around the country.

It caters for all types of vans and people It has many branches in and around SEQ, as well as the rest of Australia. These Branches hold musters every month or so. You don't need to attend 3 meetings before you join but you must be a member of the ACC. You can then visit any club anywhere in AUS you happen to be, if the Branch in that area is holding a meeting. In actuall fact you become a member of the ACC and the Branches cost no extra, except a $2 registration fee for each meeting for insurance purposes.

To join the ACC it Cost $50 for the first year then $40 per year there after.

Have a look at the likn at http://australiancaravanclub.com.au/

Safe travelling
