Another "newbie" question!! what are the yellow maps you're talking about? I understand the ribbon and yellow velcro but the maps have got me!!

Hi Sue n Stu,
Maps are for the same purpose as ribbons.

The Forum as a group voted and having maps idea won,.

Lance makes them and does a beautifull job, they go on the TOP Front and rear corner of the van on the drivers SIDE.

LOOK slsewhere in CLUB chat and you'll see Lance's posts on maps etc etc

HTH Cheers Rod

Thanks Rod, after I posted that I found another thread explaining it all. I've emailed Lance and ordered a couple.

We'll actually be really easy to find - our plates on the car are Stu n Sue and we're putting Sue n Stu on the van, that way we'll never lose our rig!!

Sue & Stu,
It was estimated by somone that theres approx 45K - 50K Caravans on the road at any one time.

EVEN with your stickers n Ribbons its going to be quite a event to ACTUALLY see someone from the forum on the road.

We HAVE had one CHANCE meeting by GEOFFC,a forumite and Geoff holds the privilage of being the very first..

Bev Snownsun and I had a meeting many months ago but doesnt qualify as it was a pre arranged meeting and not by chance.

Cheers Rod

We came from Brisbane yesterday to Nambucca Heads (5 nights) white albertros with the yellow ribon on the bull bar (drivers side and van radio antenna drivers side)

Still have to get to Sydney (lane cove) Stockton beach and Corrindi then back to Brisbane, so who knows our luck?

See ya on the road?
