I found this on another forum, as you know caravan fridge are notorious for freezing your lettuce and cucumber, this is partly because of uneven temperatures within the fridge, you can buy a small battery operated fan made to put in your fridge for about $40, or go to Coles, Woolies didn't have them, buy an AIR WICK, MOBIL AIR (around $8)this has the same small fan in it, use it in your house or van until the scent has gone, remove the batteries, wash it thoroughly, let it dry, then use it in your fridge to circulate the air, aparently it works a treat, ours is "scenting" the house at the moment, should be ready in abou 2-3 weeks.
