Post Another use for the hands free
I have a fixed radio and a hand held. We used to use the hand held sometimes to give directions when reversing. My wife and I both have mobile phones and found that the phone with hands free is much better. No need to hold the handset.

Well Bright Ideas is certainly the right place for that. It would certainly make it easier than trying to talk on the radio hand set and turn the steering from lock to lock at the same time. Good one Cyclone, will give it a try on our next trip.

Well Cyclone it is a great idea as my wife and myself use this method when giving directions for reversing the van back onto a site or backing up the drive when arriving home also for coupling the van to the truck. With the deal that we have with our phone company it costs us nothing to call each other on our mobiles.
