The pawsaroundoz van
I have just finished (for now!) a makeover of my 99 Hi Ace I sort of had too really, drove through some deep water returning to Darwin in January 2007 and the floor turned to soggy weetbix consistancy! I have replaced most of the floor ( the very back was ok) with polished timber. The cupboard set up in the ex Britz was not really to my liking, to many odd shape places that nothing much would fit in, so I had a open shelving unit built in and have large plastic storage boxes to fit - held in place by some neat straps. The bed/dinette was replaced - this is almost as it was but for the very rear where it has been built right across so as I have a sort of 'car boot' area. I am so far rather pleased with the results!
