Just get out there
my car is a gq patrol with winch,dual batt,a bit of suspension lift,4.2d.the van is a windsor 18ft dual axle poptop with solar and 90ah gel batt.Just back from tassie over christmas 2wks not long enough over there,definately going back.Next trip is to the cape in july\august, will be travelling with 2 other vehicles.There will be weekends away in between.So as i say just get out there.

Glad to hear tere's plenty of freedom campig down there, Hope to be going there in Feb2009, at the same time as a couple from Holland we met on our last tour of SA,NT and WA, looking forward to it, It's a pitty I have to earn some money before going, can't wait.
