Hello All
Hi. Been a member for a while so thought we should introduce ourselves. We are John & Dawn towing a Jayco Outback with a 06 Holden Rodeo V6 LT auto. Planning to gradually work up to doing a lap but first want to do the outback of Qld & NSW with no set plan just going where fancy takes us. As the van is set up to be self sufficient with Solar power and gas hot water we hope to mainly free camp. We are also mad kayak fishing folk so will hopefully be visiting as many of our inland waterways as possible. Oops nearly forgot the 4 legged member of our family Lochie the toy poodle or as he thinks of himself THE BOSS. Hope to meet a lot of you out there Cheers John & Dawn

Re: Hello All
Thanks for the reply Frank & Brenda. Love the photo of the dogs and trying to upload pic of Lochie at his favourite pastime.

Re: Hello All
At first glance it appears that Jazz has a halo over its head.

Re: Hello All
Hi Guys
Being new I will say welcome to you and good pics of your Hobie... and setup. We have dogs too but cant take them all so leave them home with the daughter and manager to mind while we go off. We have three Hobie kayaks and have a great time with them so we know feeling... and mad keen fisherpeople too. When we go " up north" next year and I can hardly wait as at this very moment it is absolutely p.....ing down rain and windy as a belly of baked beans and beer so we will take our favourite Hobie... mine, with us to paddle around in. Might catch up with you one trip. Cheers Liz and Larry

Re: Hello All
Welcome John and Dawn We have just purchased a Hobie Mirage Outfitter. We are keen birdwatchers and I am keen on fishing as well so the Hobie gave us the best option for both. Just like you we are heading up through outback Central NSW and Qld, take off in 2 weeks. Really looking forward to paddling through gorges at Lawn Hill. Have you had your Hobie for long? We are really looking forward to trying it out. Cheers Glenda

We have even had some days up here this winter where had to put a coat on to go fishing. We have 2 Outback Hobies plus 2 small Vikings Ozzies Kayaks that we use for skinny water Bassing. Try to get out somewhere at least once a week. If you are up in the Tweed area, which will be our home base from the end of the month, give us a PM and we should be able to show you some new waters.

Enjoy the ride.
