a few days before the "new" forum came along we had a person sign in as MOD 1, where are you? at least tell us you're working on some of the points which have been talked about.
let us know you are listening otherwise you may find the membership disapearing

As Mod I do not have the access to change any of the settings of the new Forum, my position is purely one of Moderator.
All valid comments are passed on to Admin for their consideration.
Little change can be expected before office hours Monday.

You ain't got much work to do, it's a bit bloody quiet around here.
I would have thought more of the mob might have tracked the new forum down by now.
Maybe they have had a look and are not too taken with it.

I am slowly getting the hang of it. I hadn't really got the hang of the previous forum so I imagine this one will take me longer. I was always surprised when something worked for me though nearly all my PC use is like that. " doodooe lookit that." is a rather common remark from yours truly.

why not just give us the old forum layout back ,I hadnt joined that long ago,but for me this new one just isnt working

I have been slowly finding my way around it over the weekend. I find I resist change a fair bit as many of us do. Gotta happen though for whatever reason.

It is up to the members to make the forum attractive to others. All Admin does is give us the platform to work with. I think it will restore itself given time but I have to admit the big drop off in numbers surprised me. I suspect many just cannot find the new Forum.

I kept clicking on bookmarks for a while and finally went looking for it elsewhere. I think I found a clue under "Lost Souls' or something similar. No, I finally went to the Caravan and Thingo web site and was given a cut lunch and a compass and told to 'go find.'

and I can understand the drop off as well , a friend joined last week then the new bit was done before she got her message from the boss to say ok
