I'm watching in awe. Wish I could type as fast as I speak.
You're doing an absolutely fantastic job.

Hi ALLAN or Bussy.
I just had a look at your post for the first time. I have sort of read your heading before, but i have no interest in building a van myself and no expertise that could help, so i let it go. Then i realised that you are the computer expert, so i thought is he building a computer tower? You could probably do that easier
But no, you are doing a really good job and a big job, not many would have the guts to start something like that, so keep going. I think you can the light at the end of the tunnel and that must be a relief :)
Now i wonder, when its finish, if you will think, there is somethings i could have don different, sell the van and build another. NO,NO don't even think about it.
I will follow your post from now on, can't wait to see the finish.

Hans

Hello again Allan.
Great progress and all looks a top job too! I can see lots of good detail and thought having gone into your project. My progress has been slow tho. Maybe I'll get to turn the chassis over by the end of January as hoped but that is only a week away, hmmm.
I notice you have gone with a domestic split A/C system. I plan to make provision for one also for several reasons, efficiency and cost being the main two. The only place I can position the compressor unit is at the RHS rear bar which I'm not really thrilled about but equally I don't want a 40kg lump on the roof either.
You must be feeling happy to be so close. It's been a chunk of your life, both rewarding and occasionally frustrating no doubt . I can imagine all the thoughts that will tumble through your mind as you take it out on it's first shakedown run.
Great job Allan, its been a great thread to follow.

Cheers for now
George W.
