Wine rack.
Carrying wine. One of the most essential items in a caravan. We have been using cardboard cartons for ours and last Sunday on the ABC radio (caravaner's friend) they were discussing Grey Nomads and travelling. A chap spoke of his plastic wine rack and how simple it was to make up. From that I bought a 3mt length of 90mm storm water pipe and cut it into 12 x 250mm lenghts and stacked them side by side vertically. Made up a light timber frame for the outside out of 50x19 with a spreader piece separating the 6 either side of that. The timber is placed halfway up the pipe and only has to keep them contained. Screwed it all together and then mounted it under the bed at the front corner by screwing from the outside bed front panel and used same colour plastic caps on the screws to make it look finished. The bottles sit in the individual tubes and rest on the carpet under the bed. Permanently fixed and will carry without any problems. Thanks ABC. Kindest regards, Denis
