Good grief

I worry that mine is too low and heart rate too slow. Often when sitting about my systolic is barely above 100 and pulse rate high fifties to low sixties.

I have an Omron BP checker and use it every so often and……… yeah…… you guessed it….. punch the numbers into a spreadsheet

Well OT,
went to the GP this morning for a regular check-up and script and had a pulse of 39, so went to the specialist clinic and am currently fitted with a 24 hour monitor.

They said that a report goes to both the Cardiologist and to the GP.

probably should have asked them to send one to OT so that a spread-sheet could be produced.

However was told that as long as it isn’t consistently around 30, and had no ill effects, not to be concerned.

A friend of mine couldn’t go on a planned trip as he was very unwell.

So he was sitting on a bed talking with four or five doctors around him, and none of them could detect a heart beat.
Second time around one of them found a slight heart beat.
