Hi OT,
Hope the OP and the recovery go well. I’m like you and find that being sedentary for any length of time is a real drag.
Cheers,
JackDriver

Re: Old Techo
Thank you all for your good wishes and reassurances
I’m beginning to feel like it should be open heart surgery to earn such support
Jock, travel plan timing in limbo UFN. Still the same destinations though. You may be happier if it slips into March or even April

Re: Old Techo
Had a bilateral hernia done some years ago OT, and prior to the op,if I needed relief, I would lie on the carpet on my back with my legs up on a chair or couch.Everything tended to fall back into place and I was able to get back doing a few things. My son who is a perioperative nurse tells me that the anaesthetic used in the case where you are awake during the procedure is nicknamed the “sex drug” as you have no recall of the event later. Good luck and be careful. Ian

Re: Old Techo
All the best for your op, OT. I Had hernia op a few years ago, keyhole, but by general. You will need to take it easy for a few weeks though after surgery. So I guess you will be filling in some time here.
