Yes, you’re right-I mostly if not always wear long sleeved shirts and they can be uncomfortable in hot weather. I wear them to reduce sun exposure as I, like many others, have frequent skin cancer operations. Long sleeves also help when ever loving sandflies and mosquitoes come along.

I made the mistake when I was younger of being often in the sun with spearfishing or frequent trips to Darwin in mid summer-so now I’m paying the price. My northern Scottish genes have a lot to answer for.

You buy ’em in a box, nice and flat and when you get ’em home, put ’em on and there is this great big bulge right in the middle.
They got a lot to answer for I reckon.

The bulge is known as the veranda over the toy shop.

Problem is for some the toy shop’s been closed and out of business for a few years.
