Hi dieseltojo
Yes you are correct about the truck photos not being in SA. The old fart stuffed up badly

Thanks everyone for your comments. We are having a great time on the Yorke although the fish and crabs have been hiding a bit. We had 5 nights at Port Broughton C/P. Very nice park, right on the water and walking distance from town and wharf. Now we are at Androssan for 4 nights. Hopefully we get some fish and crabs here.

I have done that with photos like misnaming them as well.

It’s not in the York Peninsula but BirdWood SA has some nice autos and motor bikes on display.
I now have to note that I cannot accept owners ship, truth, quality, or veracity, of articles I may quote off the internet.

We will be heading onto the Yorke after we visit the Flinders.
ok must sees are the Ardrossan Bakery, the Cornish pasties are worth stocking up on and freezing. The Limekiln at Wool Bay is interesting for those who go in for that sort of thing….
Port Vincent we liked last time we were there WF Van park, 5 mins walk to pub with great food…
This time we hope to see more of the west coast of the peninsular…

We really enjoyed the area around Moonta, There is a fantastic mining museum in an old school, just out of town. The Cornish pasties in Moonta were great as well. We found all the peninsula fascinating and plan on return trip one day
Cheers

Yes the Port Broughton CP is very nice, alas the fines they use to surface the sites tent to get into everything.. None the less a nice spot to stay…Davine wrote:Thanks everyone for your comments. We are now at Pt Torton CP, very nice, grass sites with astro turf “slabs” and clean amenities…
Nice bakery here too but the Vanilla Slices would fail miserably in the national championships, I’ll let you know about the Cherry slice…
If it stops bucketing down with Datsun cogs we will explore more around here, down to Innes and Marion Bay…

We are now at Ardrossan, home of the stump jump plough. Guess what the pressure reducer which I thought was faulty is not, it was just low water pressure at the places we were at…
