I heard a rumour today that you can hire a caravan when you arrive in Tas….All set up ready to go and cheaper than a Motorhome.
Anyone know anything about this?
I guess it would mean that you can take the tug over on the cheap subsidised rate and then enjoy all the benefits of caravanning in Tas.
I know it wouldn’t be the same as travelling in your own van but it would be a viable alternative for those with a limited budget. (me included)
For those travelling a long way from Melbourne, I’m sure you’d find inexpensive storage for your van not too far away from the Port.
Would be interested to find out more.
