Travelled through Bulahdelah a couple of weeks back and pulled in to stop at the Lions Club rest area for the night. There were gates at each end, wire fences up and large, red ‘No Camping’ signs. I think that the fences are temporary, as the grounds must have flooded recently and they are protecting them from being churned up. Went further on, towards Raymond Terrace and noted that the large rest areas on either side of the road were also posted with the large, red, ‘no camping’ signs. Anyone know what has happened in the past 12 months, where the signs have been erected? We ended up staying the night at Karuah caravan park.
