Re: Bad hair day
G’day diwayne Haven’t got one (well SWMBO hasn’t!). Big current draw and battery destroyers I believe. If you have a low output gennie look for a low wattage 240 volt hairdryer that fits within the gennie output. I reckon this is a better option if it suits and you’ll get a better ‘blow’. cheers Jdog

Re: Bad hair day
I reckon i can cope with looking ugly for a few days when enjoying bush camping . I take a hair dryer for use in a CP bathroom, but can never remember where it is when i need it – but it always turns up when unpacking the van when we get home

Re: Bad hair day
We purchased one for when we are free camping. It is useless and my wife now puts a baseball cap on to hide the bad hair day.

Re: Bad hair day
Di got one about 5 years ago for the wife to use down the farm, when I got it the guy at the boat shop said to me "good luck I hope you have lots of power" at that time I had 900ah so it was not going to be a problem, the wife must have overheard him and has never opened the packaging but it is there if she wants or needs to use it.
anything with a heating element will suck lots of power.

Re: Bad hair day
Bought one a few yars ago, used it a few times and gave up. Apart from battery draw, the element is too small to be very effective, so takes far too long to do its job. Have no idea where it is at the moment – don’t waste your money…
