Post Aircon Comparison
Buying a new van and have the option of choosing between an Ibis Low Profile AC or a Cormorant Roof AC (Not sure what model/HP) Just wandering if anyone has any knowledge/experience with either, goodor bad ? (The van builder seems to be pushing the Cormorant)
Thanks in advance Paws

Hi Paws.
Can you give more detail as to what type/size of van you are contemplating on buying? This will people an idea as to what may be best for your situation.

G’day Paws
We have the IBIS and ordered it because it is low profile on the roof. Relatively easy to use and features the soft start so that the Honda 2.0I will get it going – not that we get much call to use it here in Tas.
Don’t know anything about the other brand to compare it with.
hope this helps

They are both Air Command. Maybe the Cormorant is cheaper & if it is all included in the price, perhaps it explains why they are pushing it?

What reason did they give & have you checked the specs of both?

We are happy with our Ibis but never had the Cormorant.
