Thermos cooking
Just thinking if we could use our large mouthed small thermos’s to prepare a lunch meal on the road as per Dream pot recipes. Has anyone some ideas how to use these thermos’s for a quick meal on the road instead of the old sandwich.

Re: Thermos cooking
I think you will find that the voluum used in a thermos will not be enough to sustain heat long enough to cook anything but just to keep food hot or cold for a couple of hurs it is good.

Have a look on EBay, just type in dream pot and have a look, you will find some copies that are very efficient and reasonably priced

Keep an eye out for the Aldi thermo pot.
Comes in under a $100 and works as good as the others.
I use a wide mouth thermos for Hot dogs as well.
Nice warm lunch on a cold Gippsland day
