I bought one of these because a chap at the Star car wash told me thats how he gets the cars so clean.

Wow the car came up cleaner than when I bought it brand new.

I used some car wash detergent in a spray bottle as the lubricant, wet an area about 1 m sq and then rub over with the bar and rinse off. You can mould it into shape by pressing and it will get into grooves and places normally left uncleaned…

Now I’ll have to wax it…

Been meaning to get one of those for ages TT….but the ones I’ve looked at are a darn sight more expensive than those ones. Supposed to be very good for pulling dirt out of the surface of thd clear coat.

Yes I saw a kit by a famous brand in a super cheap shop and it was expensive.
This elcheapo version I assure you works very well.

Yes if I don’t embrace the url with the button the link won’t activate. Perhaps something else that deters posters

I realise what I use is a lot more expensive than the clay bar on ebay , but well worth it . I have been using “Mothers Claybars” for ages and they are fantastic.

I used to use Maguires Clay Bar but the Mothers is far superior, last ages.

TT, thanks and my regular is Chrome.

I’ve also tried Opera, Firefox and IE on both your link and mine, so that browser theory is out the window.

Left only is…. it works without the forum URL thingie (that I never use for such links)…. so please try inserting it that way as a test
