Oi Roothy 2

Oh oh, what's happening this time?

By: Roothy  |  November 4th, 2010

Just dropped Milo out to Ben at APT Fabrications in Tingalpa - why? Because I reckon it's time we got a bit or protection in the old girl. I built a square tube 'body support' into it years ago but as the trips get tougher and Milo's body gets looser - like her driver, the Brake reckons - the old girl needs a whole lot more. The little roll in the High Country didn't have much to do with it, she only fell over that time. But there's been enough scary moments to get me thinking! Anyway, we've got some big plans so I'll keep you posted - cheers, beers and no fears, Roothy

Cool Roothy, I have been thinking the same for my girl, would love to see how yours is done, and secured, Scotty Tassie

Roothy got to ask.. Did you notice the better fuel economy and a substantal lift in the suspension with all the esentals out of the back of Milo?

Nice one mate! Good to see the old girl getting some TLC Josh - Briz.

Dunno about TLC Josh, poor old girl needs a new everything... and yes, without the pallette of beer Milo lifted a couple of inches higher... on ya Quadiax!

Whie there ay it you'd better get the boys at APT to fit a secret compartment to put the pies and cream buns into Roothy . So the handbrake doesn't find them.

Hey Roothy, was wondering if u know anywhere close to me where i could get reasonably priced parts for a "90 model na pajero wagon. We need back seats as the family just got 1 person bigger and even though he's going to be in hospital til at least january, hubby and i have 3 other ankle biters between us that need a reliable old beast to get around in. A diesel engine would also solve a lot of our problems because we love going and trying out as many of ur 4 wheel driving tips as possible, especially when it comes to water crossings. I agree that something is happening. term paper

ben does a great job he did my sliders and snorkal top bloke and does top job

I hope that protection is not a safety thing. It would be acceptable if it were for other things like, mounting stubbie holders or a place to hang your Russian fur hat! What about using it as a compressed air reservoir too? No point having a device that only does one job - make it work for a living

hey john, what seats can i replace the stockos with in my 60, will i have to change the rails?? Cheers.

you could always do a trade for my comfy 100 gxl roothy!

mate i can't think of what they call it, you know the stuff they spay into the back of utes to protect it, i think from the look of pic the old girl looks like she could do with sumthing like that. PS could you tell me where you got your tray for big red from?
