Ah, that's ok Sally, I couldn't convince the other half that the outlay was justified. I did myself no favours by positioning our van in it's resting spot in 2 moves with her help on getting back from our last weekend escape, but I can still see us with some kind of ratcheting jockey wheel or the like before too much longer!
I'm glad you found a buyer and wish you well on your trip South! (I see you asked for info on Fingal Head CP, not looking at travelling too far on the first day then? You'd be there in 45 mins )

I'm pleased you got your set up okay, - eventually! Have a look at the ratchet swing up wheel at BCF. They're a single wheel, but looks pretty sturdy. About $130. Don't be too harsh on the Mrs!

We stayed at Fingal a month ago for a few nights...top spot!

No, we are going to Coffs or surrounds the first night and getting to PS the next day.

Even though I am terrible at early starts (anything before 10am), Fingal is a bit too close - even for me!

Wish I could leave at 12pm and stop at Fingal! Time is against us, I'm afraid. Only allowed 1 night stopover. The Big Boss has spoken!
